Established in December 2005, Anchor Bay Entertainment Australia is an independent, all rights distributor of feature film and television product in Australia and New Zealand.
The Anchor Bay library consists of Australian and International films, including our theatrical successes DONNIE DARKO, BEYOND THE SEA and the recent Andy Garcia comedy CITY ISLAND. Our home entertainment division boast such hits as the CSI franchise, DOC MARTIN, THE WARLORDS, TEKKEN and SPARTACUS: Blood and Sand.

Marilyn Greig - Managing Director
Brings over 30 years industry experience including time with Village Roadshow, Palace and the highly respected independent RocVale / Imagine Entertainment. With the recent retirement of John Vale, Marilyn has stepped into the role of Managing Director, whilst still overseeing the Marketing Team. Marilyn is based in our Sydney office.
Chrissy Dermondy - General Manager, Sales
10 years with Warner Roadshow and winner of many Sales Executive Awards. Chrissy is Melbourne based and joined the Anchor Bay team in January 2006 after launching Blockbuster label DEJ in Australia and New Zealand. Chrissy handles major clients JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, Target and Blockbuster. Chrissy’s extensive knowledge of film makes her the perfect choice to guide our acquisitions team.
Michelle Godmaire - National Sales Manager
Sydney based Michelle joined Anchor Bay in May 2007 from independent DVD distributor MRA. Her previous experience includes roles with Polygram Records and Austereo MCM Entertainment. Michelle handles major accounts BIG W, Sanity and Video Ezy.
Paul Priftis - Finance & Business Affairs Manager
Paul joined Anchor Bay in our Melbourne office in March 2006 and heads up our accounting department. Recently adding the Business Affairs portfolio to his responsibility, ably assisting Marilyn in this area.
Claire Bryant - Marketing Director
Our most recent team member, Claire joined us on April 18, 2011 with responsibility for Theatrical, Home Entertainment and Digital marketing in Australia/New Zealand. Claire is based in the Sydney head office. With eleven years experience at Twentieth Century Fox in both UK and Australia, her vast knowledge and many talents are an invaluable asset as we continue to grow the Anchor Bay brand.
Anchor Bay is a member of AVSDA (Australian Visual Software Distributors Association) and an Associate member of AVRRA (Australian Video Rental Retailers Association).
Anchor Bay utilises the warehousing, invoicing and fulfillment services of Madman Entertainment. Our rental and retail properties are released in New Zealand by Madman Entertainment.
